This single core, PVC sheathed flexible cable is primarily used as flexible panel wire and is available in a wide range of colours to support this application.

Cable Specification

Designed for internal equipment wiring in switch control, relay and instrumentation panels of power switchgear, and for purposes such as internal connectors in rectifier equipment, motor starters and controllers, this flexible cable can be installed in open air, in conduits, or in trunking.

Voltage Rating

Manufactured in accordance with European Harmonised Standard H05V-K and H07V-K, the cable offers two different voltage ratings depending on the cross-sectional area size of the conductor. The H05V-K cable has a voltage rating of 300/500V and is available in sizes up to 1mm2, whilst the H07V-K cable covers sizes from 1.5mm2 and upwards, and has a rated voltage of 450/750V.

Product codes are completed by replacing the asterisk (*) with the insulation colour code – Red (RD), Black(BK), Blue (BL), Yellow (YW), White (WH), Grey (GR), Brown (BR), Green/yellow (GY). Other colours of cable are available upon request.

Electrical characteristics reference provide maximum conductor resistance data in line with EN 60228, along with Current Carrying Capacity where installed in a wall, in a thermally insulated wall, or in free air.
